Many years ago, a girl named Aspid was about to be married, and she decided to run away. She fled into a black field where the evil spirit Vaitalai dwelled, and everyone feared him. But Vaitalai drove Aspid away. The girl named Aspid came to the house of an old witch. The old witch cast a curse of eternal youth on Aspid. Forty years passed, but Aspid hadn't changed or aged at all. Aspid was locked in the house, unable to escape, lest anyone else fall in love with her. Aspid went to the old witch to lift the curse, but she did nothing. Aspid spent twenty years locked in the village, communicating only with the witch. Then the man who had locked her in entered the house. Talay was already very old and wanted to see the love of his life one last time. Three years passed, and a stranger came to Aspid, wanting to buy the land where she was locked in.
