A situation would often present itself when we are editing a video and we want to pause the video at a certain point to explain something while the video is still. Once we have done with the explanation, we can then unpause the video and the presentation continues.
Today, I’ll show you how to freeze a frame exactly for that purpose in a surgical video. Freeze-frame is straightforward in most video editors but in Shotcut video editor, though it is easy enough, we need a workaround to do it.
