Installing WampServer
First things first, let's get WampServer installed. If you haven't done this yet, check out our previous video linked in the description for a step-by-step guide. Once you're done, come back here, and we'll set up WordPress together.
Installing WordPress
Now, assuming you've got WampServer up and running, let's move on to installing WordPress. Go to wordpress.org and download the latest version. Don't worry; we've got the link in the description for your convenience.
After downloading, extract the files and move them to the 'www' directory in your WampServer installation. Now, open up your browser, type 'localhost,' and let's create a new database for your WordPress installation using phpMyAdmin.
Creating Database
With the database set up, visit 'localhost/yourwordpressfolder' in your browser, follow the on-screen instructions, and voila! You've just installed WordPress locally.
