🇬🇧 Ukrainian musical fantasy in the heart of Britain helped raise UAH 500,000 ♥️
Within a month, I wrote adaptations of 16 scores for orchestra. About 100 people were involved (musicians, volunteers, choir).
But it was a thrill to hear Ukrainian ancient melodies in my arrangements sounding within the walls of the Abbey. All members of the Argyle String Orchestra are local musicians who decided to help on their own initiative.
As a child, I would never have thought that the melodies my mother used to sing to me would one day be performed on such a large scale at international events ♥️
