I ported Katawa Shoujo to the Atari Jaguar (Kind of)
This is a brief demo of my recent weekend project, partially porting the popular visual novel Katawa Shoujo to the Atari Jaguar. I really love my Jaguar, and I always felt it deserved more games, so I've been trying my hand at development lately. Sadly, the lack of storage on a cartridge, and the lack of development tools for the CD system will likely prevent this particular project from ever getting done. There's just no way to fit everything into a 6MB cartridge!
If I ever pick this up again, there's a ton of shine I could do to make this look and feel much smoother, but everything requires space I just don't have as a cartridge game. With the CD, I could do the FMVs via CinePak, use much higher quality music and sound effects, and increase the bit depth of the graphics as well!
