iOS 11.2.5 Beta 2 Released - What's New? Faster? Slower?
Apple just pushed out it’s latest beta version “iOS 11.2.5 Beta 2” for developers.
Here is everything that has changed since Beta 1.
The following changes were noticed:
1. A lot of LAG!
When using camera app, photos app, music app there seems to be a lot of lag which destroys the user experience of smoothly enjoying the iOS on the iPhone.
2. Slower!!!
The overall experience has slowed down and seems a little snappy while using the iPhone. It’s not a good experience while using the phone at all.
3. Bugs/Fixes
When accessing the font size in the settings app in the text tone in the ringtone setting where you choose your ringtone, you’ll notice that the font size has been fixed where previously they had bold fonts somewhere and regular font in the others. This was in Beta 1 and has now been fixed in Beta 2.
4. WiFi Lag (network)
When downloading from the APP STORE, you’ll notice that there is a lag and the network slows down or in some cases stops aur pauses for a few minutes and then starts working. 5. WiFi disconnection
At times you’d be disconnected from WiFi although in the setting menu you are connected. But, it will take the internet access from your LTE or 4G network which is quite annoying. So, if you are on a restricted data plan, watch out!
Here is a recommendation, if you have haven’t updated to the iOS 11.2.5 Beta 2 please DON’T!
Our suggestion is towait for the 3rd Beta to avoid lags and bugs which would be a nightmare on a daily usage iPhone.
