Arduino Robot Arm with WiFi (ESP8266) is back! After being turned off for more than a year, it came back to live. This time with new functionalities and a knife. What could go wrong?
For this specific 🤖 robot arm; I use a metal Robot Arm, 6 Servo's, an Arduino mega 2560, An ESP8266 connected over Serial.
I can control the robot arm through a web-interface that communicates over Wifi with the ESP8266 controller. The signals are then send to the Arduino Mega that controls the Servo's. I look forward to future improve the robot arm. Next step will be to automate actions with sensors (e.g. recognizing an object and moving towards it).
Because of a busy year I didn't look to my robot arm for more than a year. You know, one of those projects to repair and improve once when there is time. Finally, I replaced the step-up power converter to a real power supply and fixated the robot arm to a wooden base.
💡 What should I do next with it?
