2023 AALS Awards Ceremony
The third annual AALS Awards Ceremony honored colleagues and celebrated excellence in legal education on January 5, 2023 at the AALS Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. Held in person for the first time, the ceremony highlighted the winners of the annual Scholarly Papers Competition, AALS Section of the Year, Section Award recipients, the Deborah L. Rhode Award, and the inaugural Michael A. Olivas Award for Outstanding Leadership in Diversity and Mentoring in the Legal Academy. 2022 AALS President Erwin Chemerinsky served as master of ceremonies.
