I share with you the recipe of an incredibly good Japanese flan, there in Japan they call it honey flan, others call them drunk flan for brandy, but the reality is that when cooking it the alcohol evaporates leaving an indescribably good aroma and flavor, this fantastic flan ends with a Japanese sponge known as castella, also flavored with honey, in this case honey is the secret of the flavor of this coverage, so I recommend you to use it 100%.
In this recipe we start with the elaboration of the authentic caramel sauce for pudding and flan, but we also teach you how to be careful not to suffer burns.
This recipe was found by Nara from "La Cocina del Sur" in a Japanese website, we tried it at home and we liked it so much that we wanted to make it respecting almost everything except the flour of the sponge cake that we lowered it because the Spanish flour is very different from the one sold in Japan.

It is important to remind you "although I say it at the beginning of the video" that this recipe is for 6 glasses of 125 ml .... the bigger the glasses less flan will come out, or you will have to triple or double the ingredients.
