Blog 118 Xmas Asuka (Costume Super Center review/construction notes)
I meant to have this video up way sooner, but the craziness of the holidays got away with me, then trying to get back into the swing of everything... AKA: I got kinda lazy lol!
So finally, here's the video review of my newest cosplay Xmas Asuka. Once again Costume Super Center (http://www.costumesupercenter.com/) was wonderful and supplied the base costume for me, a Miss Santa Claus costume from their store, which I modified to fit the character design. I got lucky though as the designs were very similar. But this is a really good example of how EASY it can be to cosplay. You don't need to break the bank to do it, or even have a lot of sewing skills. For example: I spent some extra money to redo the fur trim when really you don't have to. I also spent extra money to buy velvet to make my own bows but you can always store buy those too.
