Dogfight night for three of us in 62AW. I'm not an expert in the Tomcat nor ACM, but this was the first time I had played around with flaps down maneuvering and I was astounded.
Including one maneuver kill, I went 17-0 in the mighty Tomcat--a personal best for me.
I know that this isn't realistic--flaps are not to be lowered during hard maneuvering in the Tomcat--but neither is mashing the FCS override in the Mirage or F/A-18 and I'm pretty sure we all do that too :-)
