PAN: panoramic environments - by Kaya Barry
PAN is part of the "PAN & ZOOM" installation by Kaya Barry and Jondi Keane.
PAN is an activation and accumulation of panoramic images from visitors to the gallery and PSi participants around the world. It is an expansive, multi-sited panoramic movement. Visitors to the gallery mobilise the artwork by moving the projector mounted on a dolly-track and a track-pad that scrolls the digital projection. The result is an expansive sensory experience: the physical movements of the media conflict or align with the perceived movements of the panoramic images, expanding and merging across different sites.
