Different Sentence Types: Declarative, Imperative, And Interrogative | lesson 3 What is a Sentence?
A sentence is a group of words and it is having three important characteristics.
1. It expresses a complete thought or idea.
2. Sentence must contain a subject and a verb.
3. Meaning of any sentence may be different.

Types of Sentences based on different meaning.
1. Declarative Sentences
Declarative Sentences tell information about anything. and They end with a period.
2. Interrogative Sentences
Interrogative Sentences ask a question. They end with a question mark.
3. Imperative Sentences
An imperative sentence gives command or ask for request.
They end with a '.' or '!' mark depending on how forcefully you say any sentence.
4. Exclamatory sentences
An exclamatory sentences expresses strong emotions or feelings.
