Dhol Tasha Performance Pune - Taal Pathak
Every year at Ganesh Chaturthi - the annual festival of the revered elephant-headed God - the city of Pune comes alive with the sounds of the Dhol and Tasha - two types of drums - one with a deep bass sound and the other with a high treble sound. There are various schools or "Pathak"s in Pune that train and compete with each other.This video is captured at one such performance in Kothrud, Pune in September 2014, and the group is called the Taal Pathak
