WOODHENGE 6 high rez test
Woodhenge could be the home of the builders of Stonehenge during its construction which could have taken 1,500 years. I'm working now to refine the details in my virtual world.
Woodhenge: I sat down with a site plan with color-coded & diameter-sized post-placement on the Woodhenge site which is about 2 miles from Stonehenge. I looked at Neolithic timber building techniques and I am letting the site and post-placement guide me to what might have been. It is an experiment and takes into consideration the spiritual ideas as well as the pragmatic survival aspects of 5000 + years ago. If I was a chieftain and had a crew of 300 or so helpers (tribe/family) I think I would want to make sure they had a warm safe place to sleep while we were building Stonehenge. This is a WIP and I am open to discussion. Working in a fully virtual environment so collaboration is easy.
