Dimmu Borgir was one of my favorite bands as a kid. I remember that there was a video called Satan on youtube with just images of Satan with the song "the promised future Aeons". Fell in love instantly. I still think this song is great but can't help but laugh about how edgy I think I was for being a Metalhead 😂😂
Anyways this song Vredesbyrd is absolutely amazing. There are still a lot of songs by Dimmu Borgir that I enjoy listening to. This has one of the funkiest beats for a black metal song. The open hi hat, the tom fills, the fill to get back into that groove. It's all perfect !
