This song 'lost' is dedicated to my best friend, Ralph, who is also my director. There was a time when he was going through a lot of family loss and told me he felt like his light was dim. Since high school, he's always been a beacon to those he comes across so it made me sad to hear and I wanted to write a song for him, and for all of us really, who have felt lost to feel seen. This song is like a porchlight in a snowstorm.
