How to make a smooth Transition in After Effects in 6 Steps

1st Step [0:31]: Place the A footage under the B footage, do not forget to overlap the two layers.
2nd Step [0:50]: Use the keyboard button P with the layer selected, to show up the position on the B footage.
3rd Step [1:12]: Link the B footage to the A footage by using the parenting link, just a simple drag and drop. Doing so, you will link the layer, and every movement will be like if they were tied up.
4th Step [1:31]: Bring up the position (with keyboard P again) on the A footage, and create a new keyframe by clicking on the keyframe button. Doing so you will set up the first position (default), then you will have to move in the timeline a little bit (the transition length), when you move, you need to move the layer totally on the left so the B footage is shown up, and the A footage fades on the left completely.
5th Step [1:53]: Add Easy Ease to the keyframes you just created by selecting them and pressing F9. What this will do is smoothing the movement (by adjusting the curve).
6th Step [2:12]: This will enable the Motion blur, making the whole animation look a lot more nicer.
