Today I am interviewing a new genetic counselor graduate, Michaela Taylor (she/her). Michaela graduate in June from the Stanford genetic counseling program and currently works as a cancer genetic counselor with the National Cancer Institute in the Center for Cancer Research.
Today she is sharing her story from application prep to matching to the highs and lows of graduate school. Like many genetic counselors, Michaela matched on her second application cycle. During this interview she'll share what she did to strengthen her application and help set her apart from other applicants.
