The Solution Was Just More Money - fix waiting in ManyCam PREMIUM Beta9 paid upgrade
They know about the issue.
They already fixed it.
But not for those with Versions 7 or 8, regardless of the time left on our Lifetime, Studio, or whatever you call them 'licenses'... the point is, they know about the issue Apple articulated 10 months ago. ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/108387 )
So rather than patch or update all the Users with "Licenses" of various descriptions (crafted by sales and marketing), let's just allow each user the fun time of discovering that their new Sonoma MacOS 14 and Sequoia MacOS 15 builds won't be able to see the previously accessible Virtual Camera, in Zoom, Teams, Adobe Connect, Google HangOuts etc.
Hopefully they discover the problem while live on air with Clients, hilarious!
We won't say that we used Apple's security upgrade as a means to lock all our Version 7 and 8 users out; even though we know how to comply with Apple's Dec 18, 2023 "modern system extensions" security change; hell, it's not like we have support for those stupid suckers dealing with inflation - so who cares. Let them cry to Apple Support, Zoom Support and send Tickets to our speed of Commodore VIC-20 "Support Desk". So, if your ManyCam isn't working on a new Mac, it's because ManyCam wants it that way. Any alternatives to ManyCam? Thank you.
