Teachers unions are failing public education and teachers! Their focus is on politics and not education. There is constant calls for more funding, but the problem is not money. It is the teachers union who has taken total control over the public school system and the political system in California. What is needed is that good teachers take back their union. They need to run for positions in the teachers union and have a say on how the teachers union uses their dues. Teachers spend way too much money on dues and well over what is needed for the administration of their union.
