These are some dry rub roasted beef ribs that I made today! They were fall off the bone and they were delicious!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of Tony Cachere’s seasoning salt
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of cumin
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 tablespoon of mustard powder
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
1 tablespoon of onion powder
1 to 2 teaspoons of Cayenne pepper
Two slabs of beef ribs
Heavy duty aluminum foil
Rectangular baking dishes
Preheat oven to 275° F
Directions for preparing the ribs:
Remove the inner lining of the rib’s surface. This lining can be very slippery so you may have to use a paper towel to hold it. You can cook with it on but it makes the ribs a lot more tender if you take it off. Make your dry rub using the ingredients listed above. Make sure the seasoning blend is mixed thoroughly. Place your aluminum foil on the counter. Put your ribs on the aluminum foil. Spread the rub on both sides of the meat. Close the aluminum foil over the rubbed meat making sure the open end is pointed up and not down to keep the juices from running out. Place the ribs in a Pyrex baking dish and you can let the dry rub stay on for a few hours or you can place it directly into the oven. Slow cook the ribs for 3.5 to 4 hours. When you can see the bones protruding from the meat, this is usually when you know they are fall off the bone. Enjoy your ribs!
