Hidden damage messing with my alignment
it took me forever to figure out that the reason I couldn't get a proper alignment on my Toyota Yaris track car was that I had a slight bend in one of the knuckles from previous damage. on the car. it was almost impossible to see, and it wasn't until I pulled the knuckle off and laid it side by side with a stock one that I figured out what had been wrong this whole time.
