Sometimes, a doe refuses to care for her babies and doesn't feed them. Or even worse, she scatters her babies, trampling them.
Every rabbit breeder encounters this behavior sooner or later.
Today, I'll show you my dwarf ram rabbit, who scattered her newborn babies immediately after giving birth. I'll also tell you what I did to ensure the babies survived.
Many people think that decorative and dwarf rabbits are difficult to care for and are constantly sick. Indeed, rabbits are very prone to various diseases, but with the right nutrition, domestic rabbits and dwarf rabbits will delight you with their excellent health for a long time. My rabbit farming is primarily ornamental, although today I'll also show you my German Giant doe, who is currently with her litter.
Proper feeding is essential for rabbit health, and so plants and fresh grass form the basis of my rabbits' diet. Many people ask me what grass they can eat and which plants are good for them, so today I'll tell you about the beneficial herbs and plants in my rabbits' diet and, importantly, what my rabbits eat.
