The Orientarium is the most modern pavilion in Europe dedicated to the fauna and flora of Southeast Asia.
The building, enclosures, and aviaries cover an area of almost 10 football pitches.
The Orientarium and the rest of the zoo are open to visitors year-round, and the animals don't need to be moved to their breeding grounds during colder weather.
The Orientarium is home to 35 species of land animals and 180 species of fish.
