Virt Manager Install on Linux 2021
Just a quick video going on how to install Virt Manager on linux. It's quite a simple process once you know how to do it but you can run in to a lot of problems installing it. There are more then one way to install the application so things can break. This is just a very simple install of virt-manager which should be enough for 95% of people. If people run into issues or have an improvement, please leave a comment.
Here are the commands that were done in the video (Arch)
sudo pacman -S libvirt dnsmasq ebtables bridge-utils virt-manager qemu
sudo systemctl enable libvirtd
mkdir ~/VMs
sudo reboot
Here is a guess on what the commands will be for Debian and Ubuntu based Distributions
sudo apt install libvirt dnsmasq ebtables bridge-utils virt-manager qemu -y
sudo systemctl enable libvirtd
mkdir ~/VMs
sudo reboot
Here is a guess on what the commands will be for Centos and Fedora based Distributions
sudo dnf install libvirt dnsmasq ebtables bridge-utils virt-manager qemu -y
sudo systemctl enable libvirtd
mkdir ~/VMs
sudo reboot
