Automotive Service Technology
Automotive Service program courses prepare you to perform automotive repairs in the following areas: Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drive Train and Axles, Steering and Suspension, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating and Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance. Students perform various tasks according to the NATEF task list. An emphasis is placed on the development of quality work habits and ethics. The program is structured consisting of classroom lecture, lab, and live, shop work. Students are encouraged to take the ASE certification exams after they complete the appropriate training.
