Animation test | Bear With Me
Hello!
Long time no see! Uni finally finished and I will have some spare time on my hands!! I alsready fell into MAP hell sgkdjng My Starclan's Chosen should be finished soon.
Meanwhile -- here's an animation test I've done for my graduation film pitch! I'm really hoping for it to go through to production next year, this is what the short would look like if it goes through!
Here's some info about the project:
Title: Bear With Me
Synopsis: In the Great Bear Rainforest, a shy spirit bear feels lost in the solitary, competitive nature of their kind. Looking for a place to call home, they find acceptance in a local wolf pack.
Form: 2-minute 2D animated short film
Plot: We follow the life of a spirit bear, who struggles to adjust to the bear world. Having lost their chance to gain weight for the winter hibernation, the bear meets a wolf, who invites them to join their pack. With their help, Spirit survives the winter and moves on into the next year.
The character featured is Spirit themselves! (I'm trying to keep characters gender-neutral, as long as I can) Their design is subject to change, but the overall style stays. Hopefully I will get another animation test done over the summer, just for my own satisfaction--
