Back in 2011 Exercise Saxon Warrior saw various US Navy aircraft operating from Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton.
With the American super carrier, the USS George HW Bush operating off the South-West Approaches, two C-2S Greyhound Carrier On-Board Delivery (CoD) aircraft were based at Yeovilton for two weeks. There was also many visiting US Navy C-130T Hercules coming and going, almost on a daily bases.
Here are some rare highlights from some of the action that took place at RNAS Yeovilton.
