Type 16 (FPS) - Is It Worth It? - Quick Review [War Thunder]
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: I messed up apparently with the rendering of the video, and the quality is overall bad, especially when some stats cards are shown on screen for whatever reason didn't render properly with Premiere. I'm not famous enough as to bother to fix it by reuploading it tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Gaijin released a new Japanese top tier premium vehicle as a replacement for the Type 74 (G) Kai. Is it worth it...?
🔴The bad: The transmission works very badly when using low gears, making it unable to accelerate fast enough to drive uphill or quickly fleeing a battle. Somewhat painful uptiers.
🟡The mediocre: Mediocre turret reverse speed, as seen in other Japanese top tier tanks. Due to it's size and the fact that this is a 8x8 vehicle, it can feel sluggish when driving at low speeds around cities or closed environments.
🟢The good: Amazing optics, LWS, decent gun and very good top speed. It can easily capture points which will help you a lot with the grind.
It is a decent pack, but I would only recommend it if you're really serious about grinding the Japanese tech tree, and honestly, there's no much reason why you would do that, since it's a very limited tech tree. However, if you're decided, then yes, as you don't really have any other options. If you have already the Type 74 (G) Kai, that will help you a lot to have at least somehow of a lineup.
