In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to change the model paths in ComfyUI, helping you keep all your models organized and save space on your hard drive. Whether you're managing multiple ComfyUI installations or working with models from other UIs, this guide will show you how to efficiently set custom model paths.

If your models are located in another ComfyUI folder:
1. Open the "Models Inside Other ComfyUI" folder.
2. Download the extra_model_paths.yaml file.
3. Place it in the ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI folder. To verify you're in the correct location, you should see the main.py file in this folder.
4. Open the extra_model_paths.yaml file with Notepad, add your ComfyUI path, save the file, and restart ComfyUI.
If your models are located in a different UI folder or elsewhere on your drive:
1. Open the "Models Inside Other UI or Folder" folder.
2. Download the extra_model_paths.yaml file.
3. Place it in the ComfyUI_windows_portable\ComfyUI folder. Ensure you're in the right location by checking for the main.py file.
4. Edit the extra_model_paths.yaml file with Notepad, add your other AI path, save it, and restart ComfyUI. Mine is on D drive, so you can just change that letter and to make it easier I added the models folder structure so you can just download the models.zip and extract it to your drive. And all should be in place. Watch the video tutorial.
