Case Loma, the house on the hill. Or more like a majestic castle, possibly haunted, that overlooks Toronto's Spadina Avenue.
Casa Loma, the Hill House, is the quaintest building in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sir Henry Pellatt, a rich eccentric industrialist and financier, built the palace built from 1911 to 1914. It has nearly 100 rooms, of which the entrance hall, the ballroom and the conservatory are the most impressive. The interior decor is made of the finest and most expensive materials available at that time. The house is connected with the stables by a 244 m long underground passage. The towers provide a magnificent view over the city. A castle after the taste of king Ludwig II of Bavaria.
