P0171 Fuel Trim System Lean Code ⛽‼️ Tracker, Cruze, Onix Troubleshooting and Solution‼️
2018 Chevrolet Tracker with an Ecotec engine... It was having trouble starting, poor acceleration, and the engine was stalling. A scan was performed due to the check engine light, which returned code P0171. We then measured the fuel system pressure through the fuel rail and found a lack of pressure in the system... which should be between 45 and 58 psi, or 3 to 4 bar... which the vehicle was well below. We checked the connections and lines, and after confirming that everything was in optimal condition, we removed the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump.
