Making the SAT Optional is Critical Race Theory
Public Universities are now dropping all pretense of being focused on merit when they no longer take into account standardized testing. Rather, they focus on easily manipulated and inflated GPA's from high schools that have long since given up on students, and in many cases are outright indoctrinating them into critical race theory. Americans should be outraged that degrees from our universities are essentially becoming worthless pieces of paper that are overpriced to begin with.
As a former socialist, believe me. Universities dropping the SAT/ACT requirement is intended to weaken the competitive individualism of Americans, and is rooted in critical race theory. They drone on and on about defunding police and prisons. How about a new deal, how about we defund public schools and universities that inflate grades and lack standardized testing. That, combined with defunding their lazy welfare recipient selves just might balance the budget.
