Part 16 - Configure Network-Based Call Recording with CUBE and Mediasense (Gateway Preferred)
Cisco Unified Communications Manager uses an IP phone-based or a network-based recording architecture to provide call recording. In IP phone-based recording, the recording media is sourced from the IP phone. The phone forks two media streams to the recording server; the media streams represent the two media streams in the call. In network-based recording, the recording media can be sourced from either the phone or the gateway.
You will implement Cisco Unified Communications Manager network-based call recording using a gateway as a media source.
