So today, I’m sharing a 10/10 opening paragraph for a cover letter that I have used to help 100’s of my students get jobs.
And I’m giving you permission to use this word-for-word in your own cover letters.
Sentence 1: I am excited to submit my job application for this [JOB TITLE] position at [COMPANY NAME].
Sentence 2: I found this job posting online and after comparing the responsibilities to my own skills and interests, I jumped at the chance to apply.
Sentence 3: I believe my [#] years experience in [JOB TITLE] have allowed me to develop the critical skills needed to excel in this role.
Then, you would proceed to describe your top 3-6 relevant skills / experiences to them before closing out.
