By assembling the FLL unit for your existing VFO, you'll see excellent stability, comparable to a synthesizer. This FLL unit doesn't even require a button. Frequency tuning is done as usual; after tuning is complete, the frequency is locked and held for hours. I've made minor modifications to some units. I'll discuss them later, when the final schematics with the modifications are ready. So, the FLL unit operates reliably and is extremely stable. Build it, try it, you won't regret it. I'll build a scale with an accuracy of tens of hertz, assemble a similar unit, and then test it out. I liked its performance and want to replicate it.
