Cute Kitty Wants To Ride In Baby Stroller
Lyle is a Fraidy Cat. He won't walk around outside. He's terrified by the sounds of passing cars, lawnmowers...even the buzzing of bees. If I hold him and carry him out onto our front porch, he gets frightened very quickly and wants to go back inside. A few weeks ago, however, we made an odd discovery. My mother cleaned off the baby stroller she used to wheel my younger sister around in. She was going to give this stroller to a co-worker. Once it had been cleaned up, Lyle hopped in, my mom zipped it up and wheeled him out into our backyard. He LOVED IT! Every day now, at some point, Lyle hops into the stroller, looks at us and begins meowing incessantly until one of us zips him up and gives him yet another tour of our backyard. Apparently, he only feels comfortable observing nature from behind a screen - whether it's our window screens or the mesh of his stroller.
