Did You Know The Electrified Lamborghini Is Coming Soon?
When we think of the most luxurious cars in the world, most people will always place Lamborghini in the top ten most well-known and popular cars. And why wouldn’t they? It’s a brand that has made a name for itself and has gained the trust of customers all over the world. It is an Italian brand that was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963. The brand then was called Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. and was originally made as a competition against Ferrari. This automotive company is a manufacturer of luxury sports cars and SUV cars.
Lamborghini or now known as Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. (Società Piemontese Automobili) is currently owned by the Volkswagen Group under the Audi division after having its ownership changed multiple times since its conception.
The president and CEO of Lamborghini is Stephan Winkelmann and the current net worth of the automotive company is around 12 billion dollars. How the logo of Lamborghini, the bull, came into existence, is due to Ferrucio Lamborghini paying a visit to a ranch in Spain called Seville Ranch. This ranch bred bulls for fighting and these bulls had such an impression on Ferrucio, he decided to adopt the bull as the logo for his company.
Currently, Lamborghini has three model lines, Aventador, Huracán, and Urus, two of them being sports cars and the latter being an SUV. Apart from these, Lamborghini also produces powerboats and manufactures merchandise which includes clothing, electronics, and more. They have also manufactured cars based on client requests. This company has come a long way from selling a mere few hundred cars in 1999 to selling more than 8 thousand in 2019.
