SURE 2011: Schrodinger's Equation and the Finite Element Method: Engineering Meets Quantum Physics
This video was produced as part of my Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE) experience at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in summer of 2011. It provides a brief introduction to electronic structure calculations, and details one of the more recent developments in this field: utilizing the finite element method for these calculations.
