Rheumatology Congress July 5-7, Day 3 Part 1, Onega Hall
The congress is being held by the All-Russian public organization "Association of Rheumatologists of Russia" with the support of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "V.A. Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology," the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the All-Russian public organization "Society of Physicians of Russia" as part of the Continuous Postgraduate Medical Education Program in Rheumatology.
The congress is dedicated to current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune and autoinflammatory rheumatic diseases in adults and children, such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, systemic connective tissue diseases, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, and other rheumatic diseases.
Particular attention was given to the discussion of the importance of autoimmunity and autoinflammation mechanisms for other medical specialties—internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and pediatrics.
The congress was attended by leading rheumatology specialists from the Russian Federation, neighboring countries, and Western Europe.
