This is a test cruise for our scratch-built R/C destroyer's new bottle-rocket launch system. The test goes half-right: the rockets leave the ship, but immediately dive underwater and explode less than a ship-length away. Problem: ignition exhaust is positioned too close to projectiles, and fires them overboard before they can ignite. Development continues!
Scratch-built destroyer using a dedicated receiver/servo to activate a switch. Switch closes circuit to a model rocket igniter/engine combo, which fires bottle rockets.
