Epi: I'm so excited for this one. The inspiration behind this story was an episode of 'Castle', more precisely episode 16 of season 8, if you want to check it out! ;)
Meet detective Ben Carter and Lance Jameson. Partners, friends, brothers in arms, the first one is a loner, mysterious, cold and moody. The second one is goofy, a people's person friendly and funny. Ben was supposed to be on vacations but he was called on duty to a mysterious case with an known MO.

ORIGINAL SCRIPT/VIDEO
“What is it?” He asks right away as feels Lance coming to him; but they both knew he didn’t need to ask. He already knew and was afraid of the answer.
Lance sighs as looks down at the victim; it was the security guard of the building. Which by chance happened to be the central of a bank. “This is a second victim in town with the same MO.” He says serious mentioning the silent and quick crime, but mainly the mysterious escape of the killer. “That’s why the boss wants you in this case. The problem is that the original suspect couldn’t have done this. You made the arrest 5 years ago.” He reminds his partner, reading his eyes too well.
He sighs deeply as keeps eyeing the victim. “Rush the analyses of the samples.” He says before eyeing his partner serious.
“What are you going to do?” He asks a little worried for him.
“Well, it seems my presence in this case is imperative, despite the fact I should be off.” He says grumpy. “So I’m going to handle it.” He says as turns around to walk off.
“You mean her.” He points out, making his friend stop and hesitate. He sighed.

He gets tense as starts investigating it as looks through an old case folder. When the results are positive he leaves the station with the folder.
In prison Luna Simons recieves a visitor and she's intrigued and surprised, but nothing prepares her to see detective Ben Carter again. Emotions and feelins are too much inside of them, but they control it and play it cool. He acts coldly and mad and she teases him, amused. It's her best defense for her broken heart.

ORIGINAL SCRIPT/VIDEO
“I thought I‘d never see you again.” She says surprised as puts her elbows on the table between them, leaning towards him, eyeing him directly. Wanting and needing to see his reaction to her. inside of her chest, her heart was racing fast like never before.
“I was working on it.” His tone and look was as cold as he wanted to.
She smiled, not taking it personally. Prison prepared her for animosity. But none was compared to his. “Good to see you Ben.” She says naturally as leans back on the chair, relaxed; at ease.
“I’m not here to catch up.” He says bothered and tense. “I need your help on a case.” And those words cost him the most.
“Oh, isn’t that ironic?” She almost laughed as her eyes brighten up. “The officer who arrested me needs my help. Sorry, now you’re a detective.” She said half mockingly as could see the badge secured on his pants.
Her words brought an explosion of memories; painful ones that made him tremble lightly as his voice turned lower… almost hurt and vulnerable. “You’re not here because of me. It was all on you, Luna.” He accuses her, mad.
Now her amused look vanished, recognizing his pain but she knew nothing was compared to hers. “You don’t know the whole truth about what happened, Ben.” She exploded back to him. “You wouldn’t listen to me if I tried to explain.” And that was what hurt the most; but she has to get over it. They’re not the same people. So she took a deep breath and looked at him as coldly as he was looking at her. “But I will listen to you now, if you give me something back.” The grin raised in her lips, almost devilishly as he narrowed his eyes at her, offended and frustrated.
