I voiced a Pixar character?! 🧡🐈🎙 A day at Pixar Animation Studios (pt. 2)
Pixar invited me to come visit them to gear up for their upcoming movie Lightyear!!! 🤯😭💕 I mentioned in my previous video (pt. 1: • Video ) that one of the activities I got to do in my Pixar tour was try voice acting. So here's how the recording session turned out! 🤭 I’m so so happy and excited I got to try voicing a Pixar character!! And Sox no less! 🤗🐈 Sox is already my new favorite Pixar furry friend 💕
The Pixar staff explained that usually they record the actors first and then go into animation to better match the mannerisms of the performance. But every once in a while they have to do it backwards, as shown here 🎙✨ and it is so much trickier than I thought! Getting the timing right and getting through tongue twister lines was quite the challenge 😂 I couldn’t seems to get the last line, “Would you like a frosted snack cake to celebrate?” 🤣🧁 I had to do it 3 times just because of that line 🙈😂 But it was so much fun!! And the Pixar staff also mentioned that it was fun for them to hear Sox with a woman’s voice since they’ve been so used to working with Peter Sohn’s performance. Peter added so many cute elements to Sox’s voice 🐾
