Step-by-step tutorial to decentrally sync calendars and contacts between an Android-smartphone and a PC with Mozilla Thunderbird.
GeneralSync syncs data through your local network, without setting up a server or sending your data to a third party somewhere in the Internet. This video exemplary describes the setup process for a single PC with a single Smartphone; additional devices can be added using the same methods.
GeneralSync is available at https://generalsync.com. It supports Mozilla Thunderbird on all common operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux) as well as all Android apps accessing calendars and/or contacts provided by the operating system. Support for additional applications is in development.
