Evaluation Principles In Practice | Workshop 1: Committed to Learning and/or Change

Last year, we co-developed a set of Evaluation Principles for meaningful evaluation of cultural experiences. They promote evaluation as a means of structured learning, to help us develop our impact, value, resources, knowledge and capacity.
However, we recognise that following the principles in practice is easier said than done. So we developed a programme of workshops to explore together the very real challenges of applying the principles when carrying out evaluation.
In our first workshop, 'Committed to Learning and/or Change', we asked the questions: when are the tried and tested research methods not right, or not enough? What creative methods are available? How do we know they are robust, and how do we articulate and communicate this to others?
