Praise My Soul The King of Heaven, Acapella Arrangement
Purchase Hymns 2024 Album here: https://samrobson.bandcamp.com/album/...
This is an arrangement I put together 3 years ago shortly after a funeral where we sung this Hymn, my version is very different from how we sung it (If you can imagine the 'English' Church style, which I have done before as I like it in certain arrangement situations) However I wanted to go with the 3 part "The Isaac's" style harmonisation and style, particularly their version of Blessed Assurance, sung at one of the Gaither Vocal Band performances.
The audio for this one is also 3 years old, so there's slight differences in the way I work now since back then, I used to let things slip more haha!

Lyrics:
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven
To his feet your tribute bring
Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven
Who like me His praise should sing
Alleluia, alleluia
Praise the everlasting King
Praise him for his grace and favor
To his people in distress
Praise him, still the same for ever
Slow to chide, and swift to bless
Alleluia, alleluia
Glorious in his faithfulness
Repeat verse 1
