Teeze plays glam-rock in the Alice Cooper/Kiss tradition, defined by Rivera's high-pitched vocals, guitar hooks galore and a monster rhythm section - loud and raucous yet melodic.
The eight cuts on the debut album, recorded in a Quakertown studio with producer Pete Davis over a period of five months, are "Party Hardy," "Hellraiser," "Leave Me To Burn," "Lookin' For Action," "When the Moon is Full," "Going Away," "Midnight Madness" and "Somewhere Someway."
Teeze follows in the footsteps of Ratt, Motley Crue and other hard-rock acts who have opted to record, promote and market albums independently in hopes of moving up to the next plateau - a major label signing. It's a strategy more and more bands are using at a time when major label talent scouts are less and less willing to take chances on signing unknown bands.
