Subnautica| Part 25- Exploring the Crag Field
I've built my base in the Crag Field biome, yet I have never really explored what is essentially my backyard. I think it's time to see what lies in the darkness of this biome.
Ever had a desire to explore the mysteries of the deep ocean? Well Subnautica is the best ocean exploration simulator out there. Subnautica was developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment and was released in 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with ports for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch being released some time after. Subnautica is an open-world survival adventure game, essentially an "underwater Minecraft". The story revolves around lone survivor Ryley Robinson who finds himself marooned after the ship he was onboard, the Aurora, crashes on the oceanic planet 4546B. Now he must find a way to escape by exploring the planet and harvesting its resources to improve his chances of survival. It won't be easy however since the planet is infested with hostile fauna who are read to make us their lunch. The depths of the ocean are equally beautiful as they are terrifying, but if we hope to escape we must explore every inch of it. This game excels in presentation, immersion, and freedom. Subnautica can be a very terrifying experience despite not being considered a horror game. If you don't have a natural fear of the ocean, this game will give it to you. After all, you never know what's lurking deep in the ocean.
