This video of a gringo exploring Maranhão is amazing. Even I, a Brazilian, had never seen a flour factory, let alone one in the middle of nowhere.
We took a boat from Barreirinhas in Maranhão to have lunch at a beachfront restaurant and ended up stopping to visit a cassava flour factory. We even had the pleasure of learning about the manufacturing process and tasting the flour. I had to translate the whole explanation for the gringo, but it was really cool. Our Brazil is wonderful, and the simplicity of this place makes everything magical and brings peace to the heart. I hope you enjoy this video, and don't forget to leave your like to support us!
